Since 1993, Operation Smile has conducted medical programs in 16 cities throughout the country. Operation Smile’s global volunteer network includes more than 100 medical professionals from Venezuela, who volunteer their time and expertise in Venezuela as well as around the world. Since 1993, Operation Smile has treated more than 8,000 patients in Venezuela with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities.
